Ejercicios de termodinámica
Considérese el ciclo de la figura adjunta (ciclo de BRAYTON)
y calcular, en función de \( P_A, P_B \textrm{ y } \gamma \)
el rendimiento del ciclo, supuesto recorrido por un gas perfecto
monoatómico
- Respuesta al ejercicio 47
Para los procesos AB y CD se tiene:
\( dS = 0 \Rightarrow \delta Q = T ˇ dS = 0\)
y podemos decir que son procesos adiabáticos reversibles.
Para los procesos a presión constante, se tiene, en general:
\( \displaystyle \Delta S = C_p ˇ \ln\left(\frac{T_f}{T_i}\right)
\)
En el proceso BC tenemos:
\( \displaystyle \Delta S = C_p ˇ \ln\left(\frac{T_C}{T_B}\right)
> 0 \Rightarrow T_C > T_B \)
y el sistema absorbe calor.
En el proceso DA se cumple:
\( \displaystyle \Delta S = C_p ˇ \ln\left(\frac{T_A}{T_D}\right)
> 0 \Rightarrow T_A< T_D \)
y el sistema pierde calor.
Sabemos que el rendimiento del ciclo viene dado por:
\( \displaystyle \eta = \frac{W}{Q_1} \quad ; \quad W = Q_1
- Q_2 \Rightarrow \eta = 1 - \frac{Q_2}{Q_1} \)
En un proceso a presión constante se tiene:
\( \displaystyle C_p = \left.\frac{\delta Q}{d \theta}\right|_p
\quad \Rightarrow \delta Q = C_p ˇ d\theta \)
Y podemos escribir:
\( Q_1 = C_p(\theta_C - \theta_B) \quad ; \quad Q_2 = - C_p(\theta_A
- \theta_D) = C_p(\theta_D - \theta_A) \)
con lo que resulta:
\( \displaystyle \eta = 1 - \frac{\theta_D - \theta_A}{\theta_C
- \theta_B} \)
Por otro lado, como los procesos AB y CD sobn adiabáticos
reversibles, se cumplirá:
\( \theta ˇ P^{\;(1-\gamma)/\gamma} = cte. \)
de donde tenemos:
\( \theta_A ˇ P_A^{\;(1-\gamma)/\gamma} = \theta_B ˇ P_B^{\;(1-\gamma)/\gamma}\quad
; \quad \theta_C ˇ P_C^{\;(1-\gamma)/\gamma} = \theta_D ˇ P_D^{\;(1-\gamma)/\gamma}
\)
pero como se cumple:
\( P_C = P_B \; y \; P_A = P_D \)
podemos poner:
\( \theta_A ˇ P_A^{\;(1-\gamma)/\gamma} = \theta_B ˇ P_B^{\;(1-\gamma)/\gamma}\quad
; \quad \theta_C ˇ P_B^{\;(1-\gamma)/\gamma} = \theta_D ˇ P_A^{\;(1-\gamma)/\gamma}
\)
Y a partir de ahí:
\( \theta_D ˇ P_A^{\;(1-\gamma)/\gamma} - \theta_A ˇ P_A^{\;(1-\gamma)/\gamma}
= \theta_C ˇ P_B^{\;(1-\gamma)/\gamma} = \theta_b ˇ P_B^{\;(1-\gamma)/\gamma}
\)
Con lo que, finalmente:
\( \displaystyle \left(\theta_D - \theta_A \right) P_A^{\;(1-\gamma)/\gamma}
= \left( \theta_C - \theta_B \right) P_B^{\;(1-\gamma)/\gamma}
\Rightarrow \frac{\left(\theta_D - \theta_A \right)}{\left(
\theta_C - \theta_B \right)} = \left(\frac{P_B}{P_A}\right)^{\frac{1-\gamma}{\gamma}}
\)
y sustituyendo en la expresión del rendimiento:
\( \displaystyle \eta = 1 - \left(\frac{P_B}{P_A}\right)^{\frac{1-\gamma}{\gamma}}
\)
